Project goals

• Development of an innovative evaluation system (Pipeline Integrity Management System, PIMS) for the transport of hydrogen mixtures in pipelines
• Development of methods (roadmap) for the conversion of existing natural gas infrastructures for the transport of hydrogen and gases containing hydrogen
• Development of concepts for the maintenance strategy and safety
• Development of a safety concept for the transport of H2 and hydrogen-containing gases in pipe (long-distance) lines
• Recommendation of new standards or extension of existing regulations for the operation of reorganized infrastructures
